What I do
I help young people truly understand and succeed with math, physics, and computer science – what it all means, how it all works, how to absorb and use concepts and models, and how to feel powerful in embodying and employing mathematical and technical knowledge.
I meet students where they are. I listen carefully to what they want to accomplish, and why. We work together to figure out what’s going to help or hinder progress the most. And then we move ahead on a great adventure!
This work is important to me because I believe that of all the things I could do, this best contributes to the long term well-being of humanity.
