Students describe Rora as approachable, funny, and clear-eyed. She uses humor to make tough concepts easier, but she’s serious about helping students rise to high expectations—especially their own. She builds trust quickly and guides students to take ownership of their process. Her ultimate goal? To work herself out of a job.

Academic Achievements
Rora studied at Yale, where she won the Trumbull College Award for Fine Arts. She earned her MFA at NYU, where she honed her voice as a playwright and screenwriter. Her background in the arts fuels her teaching style—creative, reflective, and precise.
