Varsity Academics?

Apparently I am making up for a lax February in posting so much recently.

But Will Fitzhugh seems to be onto something. Why isn’t there a varsity math team, well, anywhere, so far as I know?

And for that matter, why do sports matter in schools in a way that academics seem not to?
